Jim Bagnola is an international speaker and executive coach. He is an expert in leadership and body-mind management, with a focus on the influence of thinking patterns on health, happiness, success and leadership. Over the past 40 years he has delivered presentations and courses around the world on Leadership, Stress Management, Customer Service, Coaching and Change Management – all in connection with “the secrets of the mind-body connection”. His goal is building a professional human being. In 2011, his book entitled “How to become a professional Human being: How to enjoy STRESS FREE WORK and PERSONAL HAPPINESS using the Mind/Body/Work connection” was released.
He graduated in Political Science at the University of Akron, Human Development at the European Research University of Switzerland and Psychology at the University of Santa Monica. Certified stress management instructor since 1975, he is also executive coach for the leaders of Fortune 500 US companies.
He held Vice President positions in various corporations, served as Deputy Director of Financial aid at the University of Akron, and Conference Director at the University of West Illinois. He also had the opportunity to feature world-renowned magician Doug Henning in Hollywood on his tours and shows for 7 years.
A few years ago, Jim became a certified speaking professional (CSP). This distinction has been awarded by the national speakers Association to date to only about 600 professional speakers worldwide, which includes him in the top speakers in North America. Jim was also included in the “Top 30 professional leaders in the World” from 2006 to 2010 by Leadership Gurus International.
Jim Bagnola is president of the Leadership Group International and guest Member of the Western Management Development Center in Denver. He is the chairman of LEADERS Romania Council of Advisers and allocates much of his time to AIESEC, an international student organization founded in Rotterdam. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the Olive Branch Foundation of Ohio and Doctor Honoris Causa of USAMV Bucharest.
Jim values all opportunities to significantly influence and interact with organizations in the public and private fields, including: Shell oil Company, Kroger Company, US secret Service, U.S. Department of State, Air force Department, NATO, Marriott Hotels, Siemens, Motorola, Scotiabank (Canada), McEearney Alstons Ltd (Trinidad), PT ISPAT (Indonesia), Hella, Ecolab, Castle & Cooke (Hawaii) and University of Texas.
In Romania, Jim has designed customized training and coaching programs for Hella, FM Logistic, Flextronics, Continental Automotive, Celestica, Hilton, Marriott, Romtelecom, Siemens, Porta doors, Toyota material handling etc. He has been working with the HPDI team since 2002, bringing inspiration and honesty to the training room.
