Petru graduated from the Academy of Economic Studies, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He has completed a Master’s degree in Project Management at Kenessaw State University in the United States, and the Aspen Institute – Young Leaders Program.
He is the founder of HPDI (Human Performance Development International, consultant, and coach in executive leadership programs, through which he transforms groups into teams. Over 20 years ago, Petru supported the creation and development of the Leaders Foundation, where over 200,000 young people learn what it means to inspire others, not just lead them.
In 2003, Petru began collaborating with Jim Bagnola, one of the most well-known international speakers, HPDI being the exclusive representative of the American trainer in Eastern Europe. Together with Jim Bagnola, Petru Păcuraru has been involved in consulting services, Leadership, Communication, Customer Service, Team Management, Change Management, and Coaching skills development programs for over 120 companies.
Its executive clients include companies such as BCR, Raiffeisen Bank, Hella Romania, Continental Automotive, Ecolor, Danone, Nordic Food, Allianz Asigurări, Emerson, P&G, Frigoglass and Arctic.
The entrepreneurial activity went hand in hand with consulting and coaching. Petru brought to Romania the M&A Enablers International network, he was a partner in an advertising company, a creative boutique, a chain of cafes, and a wellbeing center.
In 2013, Petru Păcuraru won the Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the ELA (Entrepreneurship & Leadership Awards), and was a finalist in the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition in 2021.
